1970.06 E Company formed Pln at Crawley (Sussex) from pers of former B Company 8th Queen's .
1971.04.01 E Company formed new pln at Sevenoaks; Crawley pln merged with cadre to form C Company (Royal Sussex), 7th (V) Bn, The Queen's Regiment at Crawley and Horsham and its Kent lineage ceased .
1973.10.08 Company subtitles and affiliations discontinued in The Queen's Regiment, and explicit West Kent lineages ceased .
1992.09.09 B (Kohima) Company, 5th (Volunteer) Battalion, The Princess of Wales's Royal Regiment (Queen's and Royal Hampshires) formed at Gillingham with Pln at Maidstone, redesignation of E Company 5th Queen's Regt .
1999.07.01 C (Royal West Kent) Company, 3rd (Volunteer) Battalion, The Princess of Wales's Royal Regiment (Queen's and Royal Hampshires) county affiliation revived at Canterbury with Assault Pioneer Pln at Dover (redesignation of HQ Company 5th Bn) with no actual presence in West Kent (B Company 5th Bn disbanded) .
