1969.01.01 TAVR III elements reduced to two cadres as The London and Kent Regiment RA at Bromley? (less R Bty converted as HQ (265 London & Kent) Squadron, 71st (Yeomanry) Signal Regiment, Royal Signals at Bexleyheath); and 8th Battalion, The Queen's Regiment at Tonbridge .
1970 HQ Sqn 71 Signal Regt converted and redesignated as 265 (Kent and County of London Yeomanry) Squadron .
1971.04.01 Both cadres reconstituted as companies of The Queen's Regiment without perpetuating K&CLY .
1973.10.01 Kent and Sharpshooters Yeomanry reconstituted with two squadrons: .
. C (Kent and Sharpshooters Yeomanry) Squadron, The Royal Yeomanry at Croydon .
. 265 (Kent and Sharpshooters Yeomanry) Squadron, 71st (Yeomanry) Signal Regiment, Royal Signals at Bexleyheath .
1987 Third squadron formed in 71 Signal Regt raised HQ (Kent and County of London Yeomanry) Squadron at Bexleyheath; 265 Sqn formed Troop at Brighton .
2006.02 HQ and 265 Squadrons were amalgamated into 265 (Kent and County of London) Support Squadron (Sharpshooters) .
2006.08 C Squadron, along with the rest of the Royal Yeomanry, was rebadged under the new single RY cap badge .
2013 C Squadron has adopted the title Kent & Sharpshooters Yeomanry and wears the cap badge and shoulder flashes of the Royal Yeomanry, and the collar dogs of the KSY .
. 265 Squadron maintains the title "Kent & County of London Yeomanry (Sharpshooters)" and wears the cap badge of the Royal Signals and shoulder flashes marked 'KCLY' .
