. The Royal Yeomanry Regiment (Volunteers) .
1967.04.01 Formed as light recconnaissance regiment in TAVR II with HQ at Chelsea, London, the sole yeomanry regiment in the British Army, with four ancient regiments remaining as its squadrons: The Berkshire and Westminster Dragoons RAC (TA), The Royal Wiltshire Yeomanry (Prince of Wales's Own) RAC (TA), The Sherwood Rangers Yeomanry RAC (TA), The Kent and County of London Yeomanry RAC (TA) and The North Irish Horse RAC (TA). All squadrons wear the badge of their predecessor .
