  Apr 53: OOB - 42 Commando RM, 45 Commando RM. May moved to Canal Zone.  
  May 53 - Aug 54: Egypt: Canal Zone  
  Aug 55 - Jul 56: Limassol, Cyprus. 3rd Commando Brigade District now 16th Parachute Brigade District  
  Nov OOB - 40 Commando RM, 45 Commando RM.  
  6 Nov 56: landed by sea at Port Said.   
  14 Nov 56: HQ embarked on the troopship “Empire Fowey” and sailed for Malta arriving on the 17th.  
1961 Singapore:   
  Apr - Jul 63: Brigade HQ in Sarawak.   
  Oct 63 - Jan 64: Brigade HQ to Sarawak, replaced by HQ 99th Gurkha Brigade.  
  Jan - Mar 65: HQ in Borneo, relieved by HQ 19th Infantry Brigade.  
1971 England: HQ Stonehouse Barracks, Plymouth.
