1 April 47 RHQ 14th LAA Regt RA retitled RHQ 46th LAA Regt RA with 117, 124 and 126 LAA Btys redesignated from 28 Bty of 27/28 Med Bty (personnel from 39 LAA Bty), 253 Med Bty (resus from personnel of 40 LAA Bty) and 3 Bty of 1/3 Med Bty (personnel from 57 LAA Bty) respectively.

 

1948

? 117, 124 and 126 LAA Btys. 26 July reduced to cadre. 16 Aug RHQ and btys S/A. 15 September RHQ and btys resus as (M) HAA units.

 

1949 - 1952

? 117, 124 and 126 (M) HAA Btys

 

1953 - 1954

England: Hobbs Bks, Lingfield with 117, 124 and 126 (M) HAA Btys.

 

1955

England: Hobbs Bks, Lingfield with 117, 124 and 126 (M) HAA Btys. 15 May reduced to cadre at Lingfield (complete by 15/10/55). 10 June reformed as HAA units at Milton Bks, Gravesend from personnel of RHQ 75th HAA Regt and 37, 150 and 182 HAA Btys, respectively

 

1956

England: Milton Bks, Gravesend with 117, 124 and 126 HAA Btys. Moved to Paphos, Cyprus?

 

1957

Cyprus: ? With 117, 124 and 126 HAA Btys.

 

1958

Cyprus: ? With 117, 124 and 126 HAA Btys. Feb moved to Paphos, Cyprus (as infantry). July moved to Milton Bks, Gravesend. 21-5Aug 46 HAA Regiment RA were relieved by 1st Bn DLI and 1 A and SH took responsibility for both areas during this period. 31 Oct 1958 RHQ and btys placed into Suspended Animation (117 Bty disbanded 1/1/62).
