1 April RHQ 2nd Field Regt RA at Camp 22, Palestine was retitled RHQ 41st Field Regiment RA with 88, 105 and 135 Fld Btys redesignated from 35, 42 Fld Btys, and 53 Bty of 53/87 Fld Bty respectively. Equipped with 25pdr.

 

1948

Palestine: Camp 22 with 88, 105 and 135 Fld Btys. June moved to Canal Zone, Egypt. Equipped with 25pdr.

 

1949 - 1950

Egypt: Canal Zone with 88, 105 and 135 Fld Btys. Equipped with 25pdr.

 

1951

Egypt: Canal Zone, Moascar, El Ballah, Tel-el-Kebir with 88, 105 and 135 Fld Btys, part of 3rd Infantry Div. Equipped with 25pdr.

 

1952 - 1953

Egypt: Canal Zone with 88, 105 and 135 Fld Btys, part of 3rd Infantry Div. Equipped with 25pdr.

 

1954

Egypt: Canal Zone with 88, 105 and 135 Fld Btys. Equipped with 25pdr.

 

1955

Germany: Crookenden Bks, Essen with 88, 105 and 135 Fld Btys. Equipped with 25pdr. July moved to Churchill Bks, Lippstadt.

 

1959 - 1960

Germany: Churchill Bks, Lippstadt with 88, 105 and 135 Fld Btys. Equipped with 25pdr.

 

1961

Germany: Churchill Bks, Lippstadt with 88, 105 and 135 Fld Btys. Equipped with 25pdr. 15 Mar RHQ placed into Suspended Animation (personnel to 49th Field Regt RA), Btys into S/A (88 Bty later in 4th Field Regt RA, 105 Bty disb 1/1/62 and 135 Bty disb 1/1/62).
