Wales: Tonfanau Camp, Twyyn with 10, 111 and 171 Fld or HAA Btys. 1 April reduced to cadre and moved to Horseshoe Barracks, Shoeburyness. 2 June reformed as a mobile HAA Regt, equipped with 3.7” Gun.

1956

England: Horseshoe Barracks, Shoeburyness 10, 111 and 171 HAA Btys, equipped with 3.7” Gun. Sept moved to Malta during the Suez crisis.

1957 - 1958

Malta: Tigne Bks with 10, 111 and 171 HAA Btys, equipped with 3.7” Gun

1959

Malta: Tigne Bks with 10, 111 and 171 HAA Btys, equipped with 3.7” Gun. Dec moved to Germany or Blandford. 1 Oct regiment was again re-titled, this time as 37th Guided Weapon Regiment (Anti-Aircraft) and re-equipped with Thunderbird 1 Missiles. 171 HAA Bty S/A

England: Horseshoe Barracks, Shoeburyness with 10 and 111 HAA Btys, equipped with Thunderbird 1 Missiles. 1 Apr amalgamated with 36th Heavy Air Defence Regiment at Horseshoe Barracks, Shoeburyness to form 36th Heavy Air Defence Regiment. 10 GW Bty, 111 Heavy AD Bty and 260 Sig Sqn joined 36th Heavy Air Defence Regiment from 37th Regt. 60 Bty went into S/A and 56 Bty to 50 Missile Regt RA
