Formed at Herford.

 

1953

Germany: Herford. 4th Line of Communications Signal Regiment and 2nd Line of Communications Signal Regiment were reorganized as 18th and 19th Signal Regiments.

 

28th Signal Regiment (Army Group)

1959

18th and 19th Signal Regiments were reorganized as 28th Signal Regiment (Army Group) at Rheindahlen. Moved to St Tonis, near Krefeld.

 

1960 - 1967

Germany: St Tonis, near Krefeld.

 

1968

Germany: St Tonis, near Krefeld. Renamed 28th (British) Signal Regiment (Northern Army Group).

1969 - 1992

Germany: St Tonis, near Krefeld.

 

1993

Germany: St Tonis, near Krefeld. Disbanded.
