Scotland: Dundonald Camp, Troon with 12 Fld, 27 Atk, 45 Atk and 107 Fld Btys. 24 August 27 Bty became independent and moved to Hong Kong in Sept (converted to 27 Mortar Bty 1/2/50, 27 Lt Bty 1/7/51).

1950

Scotland: Dundonald Camp, Troon with 12 Fld, 45 Atk and 107 Fld Btys. 1 Nov redesignated 20th Field Regiment RA equipped with 25 Pdr and 45 Bty converted to a Fld Bty.

1951

1952

England: Cherry Tree Bks, Colchester with 12, 45 and 107 Fld Btys, equipped with 25 Pdr. Moved to Quarry Camp, Hong Kong. Dec moved to Korea. 25 Dec took over the gun positions of 14th Field Regt in Korea.

1953

Korea with 12, 45 and 107 Fld Btys, equipped with 25 Pdr. 20 Regiment won the right to fire the last round in Korea, although a Canadian Regiment actually fried the last round. Dec moved from Korea to Sek Kong Camp, Hong Kong.

1954

Hong Kong: Sek Kong Camp with 12, 45 and 107 Fld Btys, equipped with 25 Pdr.

1955

Hong Kong: Sek Kong Camp with 12, 45 and 107 Fld Btys, equipped with 25 Pdr. Jan moved to Cambridge Bks, Woolwich (Temp Camp). Moved to Kirkee Bks, Colchester.

1956

England: Kirkee Bks, Colchester with 12, 45 and 107 Fld Btys, equipped with 25 Pdr. September moved to Cyprus? Dec 43 Bty joined the Regt?

1957

1958

Mar 45 and 107 Btys placed into Suspended Animation, 27 Bty returned to the Regiment, 43 Bty resuscitated as a Fld Bty (late of 28th Coast Regt). July moved to Famagusta, Cyprus (as infantry). Sept returned to Kirkee Bks Colchester.

Malaya: St Barbara's Bks with 12, 27 and 43 Fld Btys, equipped with 25 Pdr. September moved to Barford Camp, Barnard Castle. 1 Sep converted to a medium regiment, equipped with 5.5" Howitzer.

1964

England: Barford Camp, Barnard Castle with 12, 27 and 43 Med Btys, equipped with 5.5" Howitzer. 18 Mar retitled 20th Medium Regiment RA

1965

1974

England: Hopton Bks, Devizes with 12, 27 and 43 Med Btys, equipped with 5.5" Howitzer. 20 June-20 Sept Northern Ireland Tour - Belfast (Shankhill/Ardoyne). Retitled 20th Light Regiment RA, equipped with 105 Pack Howitzer.

1975

England: Hopton Bks, Devizes with 12, 27 and 43 Lt Btys, equipped with 105 Pack Howitzer. Mar moved to Sek Kong Camp, Hong Kong.

1976

Hong Kong: Sek Kong Camp with 12, 27 and 43 Lt Btys, equipped with 105 Pack Howitzer. March regiment placed into Suspended Animation. 27 Bty placed into suspended animation. When 20 Regiment were disbanded in Hong Kong they were never replaced.
