1 Apr RHQ 17th Field Regiment RA at Caernarvon Bks, Dusseldorf redesignated 19th Field Regiment RA, with 25, 28 and 67 Fld Btys redesignated from 10 Fld Bty, 13 Fld Bty and 26 Bty of 26/92 Fld Bty respectively.

 

1948 - 1950

Germany: Caernarvon Barracks, Düsseldorf with 25, 28 and 67 Fld Btys equipped with 25 Pounders.

 

1951 - 1953

Germany: Caernarvon Barracks, Düsseldorf with 25, 28 and 67 Fld Btys equipped with 25 Pounders, part of 2nd Infantry Division.

 

1954

Germany: Caernarvon Barracks, Düsseldorf with 25, 28 and 67 Fld Btys equipped with 25 Pounders. Sept moved to Woolwich (Temp Bks). Dec moved to Korea.

 

1955

Korea with 25, 28 and 67 Fld Btys equipped with 25 Pounders.

 

1956

Korea with 25, 28 and 67 Fld Btys equipped with 25 Pounders. Jan moved to Quarry Camp then Sek Kong Camp, Hong Kong.

 

1957

Hong Kong: Sek Kong Camp 25, 28 and 67 Fld Btys, equipped with 25 Pounders. Dec left Hong Kong.

 

1958

En route from Hong Kong. April moved into St Georges Barracks, Minden with 25, 28 and 67 Fld Btys equipped with 25 Pounders.

 

1959 - 1963

Germany: St Georges Barracks, Minden with 25, 28 and 67 Fld Btys equipped with 25 Pounders.

 

1964

Germany: St Georges Barracks, Minden with 25, 28 and 67 Fld Btys equipped with 25 Pounders. 29 June moved to Airfield Camp, Netheravon and retitled 19th Light Regiment RA, equipped with Pack Howitzer. Oct moved to Little Aden Camp, Aden.

 

1965

Aden: Little Aden Camp with 25, 28 and 67 Lt Btys. Sept moved to Kirkee Barracks, Colchester – 19 Infantry Bde, equipped with Pack Howitzer.

 

1966

England: Kirkee Barracks, Colchester – 19 Infantry Bde with 25, 28 and 67 Lt Btys, equipped with Pack Howitzer.

 

1967

England: Kirkee Barracks, Colchester – 19 Infantry Bde with 25, 28 and 67 Lt Btys. June moved to West Riding Bks, Dortmund, equipped with Abbot. 16 Jun retitled 19th Field Regiment RA.

 

1968 - 1970

Germany: West Riding Bks, Dortmund with 25, 28 and 67 Fld Btys, equipped with Abbot.

 

1971

Germany: West Riding Bks, Dortmund with 25, 28 and 67 Fld Btys, equipped with Abbot. 31 July 67 Bty into Suspended Animation at Dortmund, 5 Lt Bty joined from 14th Fld Regt RA. Later had an HQ Bty.

 

1972

Germany: West Riding Bks, Dortmund with 5, 25 and 28 Fld Btys, equipped with Abbot. 19 July- 16 Nov Northern Ireland Tour - Belfast (Musgrave Park)

 

1973

Germany: West Riding Bks, Dortmund with 5, 25 and 28 Fld Btys, equipped with Abbot. 7 Nov moved to Belfast (City Centre/Markets).

 

1974

Northern Ireland: Belfast (City Centre/Markets) with 5, 25 and 28 Fld Btys. 6 March moved back to West Riding Bks, Dortmund, equipped with Abbot. August moved to Roberts Bks, Larkhill (Support Regiment)? 19 Aug 13 Lt Bty joined ex 26th Fld Regt RA.

 

1975 - 1978

England: Roberts Bks, Larkhill (Support Regiment) with 5, 13, 25 and 28 Fld Btys.

 

1979

England: Roberts Bks, Larkhill with 5, 13, 25 and 28 Fld Btys. Sept moved to Ubique Bks, Dortmund.

 

1980

Germany: Ubique Bks, Dortmund with 5, 13, 25 and 28 Fld Btys. 17 July-24 Nov Northern Ireland Tour - Fermanagh/Maze. Nov 1980 - Northern Ireland (13 Bty)?

 

1981 - 1984

Germany: Ubique Bks, Dortmund with 5, 13, 25 and 28 Fld Btys.

Apr re-titled 19th Regiment Royal Artillery. 25/170 and 143 Bty's joined the Regiment. 13 Bty retitled 13 Headquarters Bty.  July moved to Kirkee Barracks, Colchester. Equipped 105mm Light Gun. Oct to ? - Belize (25/170 Bty).

 

1994

England: Kirkee Barracks, Colchester with 13/HQ, 25/170, 28 and 143 Btys, equipped 105mm Light Gun.

 

1995

England: Kirkee Barracks, Colchester with 13/HQ, 25/170, 28 and 143 Btys, equipped 105mm Light Gun. June to ? – Bosnia.

 

1996 - 1997

England: Kirkee Barracks, Colchester with 13/HQ, 25/170, 28 and 143 Btys, equipped 105mm Light Gun.

 

1998

England: Kirkee Barracks, Colchester with 13/HQ, 25/170, 28 and 143 Btys, equipped 105mm Light Gun. June to Dec Cyprus – UN Tour.

 

1999

England: Kirkee Barracks, Colchester with 19/5 (Gibraltar 1779-83) Battery, 28/143 Battery (Tomb's Troop) and 13 (Martinique 1809) Battery, equipped 105mm Light Gun. Sept 25/170 Bty moved to 47 Regt. Equipped with AS90. 127 Bty due to join the Regiment.

England: Kirkee Barracks, Colchester with 13/HQ, 28/143, 127 and 19/5 Btys, equipped with AS90. Feb to ? - Bosnia (19/5 Bty) / Kosovo (28/143 & 13 Bty).

 

2001

England: Kirkee Barracks, Colchester with 13/HQ, 28/143, 127 and 19/5 Btys, equipped with AS90.

 

2002

England: Kirkee Barracks, Colchester with 13/HQ, 28/143, 127 and 19/5 Btys, equipped with AS90. Mar to ? - Afghanistan (28/143 Bty TAC).

 

2003

England: Kirkee Barracks, Colchester with 13/HQ, 28/143, 127 and 19/5 Btys, equipped with AS90. Moved to Horne Barracks, Larkhill.

 

2004 - 2008

England: Horne Barracks, Larkhill with 13/HQ, 28/143, 127 and 19/5 Btys, equipped with AS90.

  

2009

England: Tidworth with 13/HQ, 28/143, 127 and 19/5 Btys, equipped with AS90 supporting 12 Mechanised Brigade.
