Apr RHQ 6th Medium Regiment RA retitled 18th Medium Regiment RA at Bowerham Bks, Lancaster with 18 and 52 Med Btys redesignated from 18 and 19 Med Btys respectively.

1951

England: Bowerham Bks, Lancaster with 18 and 52 Med Btys. Mar 249 Bty resuscitated (late 87th Airborne Field Regiment) and joined the Regiment. Jun moved to Newcombe Lines, Larkhill (Support Regiment).

1952 - 1954

England: Newcombe Lines, Larkhill (Support Regiment) with 18, 52 and 249 Med Btys.

1955

England: Newcombe Lines, Larkhill (Support Regiment) with 18, 52 and 249 Med Btys. 1 Oct 249 Bty into Suspended Animation to resuscitate 80 Bty (late of 31st Training Regt RA) which joined the Regiment.

1956 - 1958

England: Newcombe Lines, Larkhill (Support Regiment) with 18, 52 and 80 Med Btys.

1959

England: Newcombe Lines, Larkhill (Support Regiment) with 18, 52 and 80 Med Btys. 1 June retitled 18th Field Regiment RA. 1 Dec 80 Bty into Suspended Animation to resuscitate 40 Bty (late of 17th Field Regt RA) which joined the Regiment.

1960 - 1961

England: Newcombe Lines, Larkhill (Support Regiment) with 18, 40 and 52 Fld Btys.

1962

England: Newcombe Lines, Larkhill with 18, 40 and 52 Fld Btys. Moved from to Dennis Bks, Munsterlager. July 18 Bty equipped as a medium bty

1963 - 1965

Germany: Dennis Bks, Munsterlager with 18 Med, 40 and 52 Fld Btys.

1966

Germany: Dennis Bks, Munsterlager with 18 Med, 40 and 52 Fld Btys. Aug moved to Sek Kong Camp, Hong Kong. 22 Sept converted to 18th Light Regiment RA with 18 Med, 40 and 52 Lt Btys.

1967 - 1968

Hong Kong: Sek Kong Camp with 18 Med, 40 and 52 Lt Btys.

1969

Hong Kong: Sek Kong Camp with 18 Med, 40 and 52 Lt Btys. 10 Feb RHQ disbanded in Hong Kong and Regiment placed into Suspended Animation.  40 Bty moved to JLRRA, 18 Bty moved to 42nd Med Regt and 52 Bty moved to 45th Med Regt.
