RHQ 28th Field Regiment RA was re-titled RHQ 14th Field Regiment RA with 1, 5 and 13 Fld Btys redesignated from 1 Fld Bty, 5 Bty of 5/57 Fld Bty and 3 Fld Bty respectively.  
1947.04India: Artillery School, Deolali – the RA Depot of India1, 5 and 13 Fld Btys25pdr

 27 Oct 47: Embarked on the SS Orbita at Karachi  
1947.11.17Arrived in Liverpool, proceeded to No 4 AFV Depot Cambridge where all ranks were paid up and proceeded on disembarkation leave1, 5 and 13 Fld Btys

25 Dec 52: Handed over to 20th Field Regt RA
 29 Dec 52: embarked at Pusan on HMT Empire Pride and sailed for Hong Kong 
1953.01Hong Kong: Quarry Camp, New Territories1, 5 and 13 Fld Btys25pdr
29 Dec 55: Moved out of Quay Camp and into Chatham Road Transit Camp, Kowloon
4 Jan 56: Embarked on HMT Empire Fowey and sailed for UK
 30 Jan 56: Arrived at Southampton and went on leave
